Sort of a quick sketch. Trouble with hands and feet still. Trying not to just draw simple standing poses, so of course I try something  more dynamic. maybe I need speed lines? :P

The Inks over the sketch. This is what made me give up on inking digitally before. Just can’t get the lines as good as well I ink on paper. Though this is one of my better attempts.

I’m using Manga Studio, and still trying to learn to draw in Vectors. I wish I could find the settings that auto-tighten the lines after I draw them. Using the Line Edit tool is a pain in the ass, and more trouble than just redrawing the line most times.

If someone out there can tell me where I find the settings and preferences for automatically tighten or smooth my lines as I draw (or after I draw the line), that would be most awesome and helpful!

Ok. It’s been a LONG TIME since I’ve drawn these guys.

This is all done digitally. I’m trying to learn how to drawn more digitally, so I started with some sketches. Next will be attempting to INK digitally. That is my biggest problem (next to getting proportions all screwed up because I can’t see the whole page, and I zoom in a lot).

Tried some different things with Ernst and Bodil. I never really learned how to do furry characters well enough… well, they keep changing more than my human characters. Still struggling with getting the hair I want on Nemi, too. Also Fes’ beard was something that always had issues.

It’s quite clear I am still learning to draw… and it doesn’t help that I really have not drawn in such a long time, either.

Going to start to try and draw various people’s characters to try and get back into drawing. This was drawn in pencil, inked, erased, and photgraphed with a mobile. Cropped and overexposed. I may scan all of these in the future, but who knows.
